Square jaw head rotation reference
The square-jaw head has a flat cheek plane and a firm brow. Draw the jaw as a box seen in perspective: in the three-quarter views the near corner stays wide while the far corner tucks behind the cheek. Check that the chin keeps its flat front as it turns, and that the jaw line meets the ear rather than stopping short of it.
