One consistent gaunt head supplied as sixteen tonal angles and fourteen pencil angles, drawn from a sculpted head. The 247.5 and 270 degree pencil plates are withheld rather than replaced with a drawing that does not hold the turn.
How to work through it
- Copy the pencil plate at one labeled angle; where a pencil angle is withheld, the tonal plate at that yaw stands in.
- Check your drawing against the tonal plate at the same yaw; the transparent copy can sit over it on a layer.
- Play a loop to see how the brow, nose, and ear travel between angles.
- Work the four angles on the practice sheet, then check them against the contact sheet.
